Wicked Watch Co.
Pascal — a Basel-born finance and banking graduate — describes himself as “a real watch enthusiast, not a professional designer, marketing guru, or anything like that.” That self-description is the entire brand philosophy in two clauses. Wicked Watch Co. was founded in 2019 with a first Kickstarter campaign that failed, reshaped the product in response, and returned with a second campaign in 2021 that funded to 200%. The brand’s identity is built on transparent material innovation: mokume-gane cases, crystallised titanium, timascus, Grade 5 titanium — materials that are rare in watchmaking at this price tier, and rarer still when assembled with the care Pascal insists on.
What We Achieved
Wicked Watch Co. has developed 3D-lumed precision-machined chapter rings, full stone and specialty dials, and crystallised mokume-gane cases with specialist Swiss and international partners — materials typically reserved for watches at five to ten times the brand’s price point. Fulfilled all COVID-delayed pre-orders with clear communication throughout.

Origin
Pascal grew up curious about how things worked and developed a watch obsession that his career in banking gave him the analytical tools to pursue properly. He is open about everything: where the watches are made, what the materials cost, why certain decisions were made. That transparency — unusual in watchmaking at any tier — is a deliberate brand value, not a PR position.
Design Philosophy
Material innovation as the primary design language. Mokume-gane — the Japanese metalworking technique that layers dissimilar metals to produce woodgrain-like patterns — applied to watch cases. Crystallised titanium cases. Timascus (titanium mokume-gane). 3D-lumed chapter rings that improve legibility through engineering rather than just applying more lume to a flat surface. Each component engineered for both performance and visual impact.
The Collection
The Pearl Diver, the Basilea, and a growing range of specialist material configurations — each designed with a clear purpose and its own backstory. Swiss-designed, built for everyday serviceability, with exotic case options that give the collector something genuinely uncommon on the wrist. Priced to reflect real material and production costs without the luxury premium that larger brands charge simply for the name.
