Jack Turner

Jose “Manolo” Martinez named his brand after two of the most influential figures in his career: Jack Patrukio and Winston B. Turner, who helped him find his footing on Wall Street in the early 1990s. The brand began as a dream in a one-bedroom apartment in Hackensack, New Jersey, and grew into a boutique operation with over 5,000 collector customers worldwide. The founding motivation was personal — a father with dementia whose watch collection represented a connection between generations — and the brand’s identity has never moved far from that emotional origin.

What We Achieved

Jack Turner has grown from a one-bedroom apartment concept to a global boutique operation serving collectors across multiple continents, with consistently strong Trustpilot and community reviews. The Revolution series — featuring NH35 automatics in military-inspired cases — and collaboration watches with Transformers, One Piece, and Robotech have expanded the brand’s reach into lifestyle and pop-culture collecting.

5K+ Collectors Worldwide

NH35 Revolution Automatic

The Revolution series uses the Seiko NH35 — a reliable, serviceable automatic movement with 41-hour power reserve used by independent brands globally.

Origin

Founded with a deeply personal motivation — to honour the watch-collecting legacy of a father whose memories were being taken by dementia — and named after two mentors from a Wall Street career. The brand carries that sense of human legacy at its core: that a watch is not just a timepiece but a transferable object of memory, passed between people who mattered to each other.

Design Philosophy

Military-inspired DNA throughout — the Revolution Autopilot, the Tsunami diver, the Quantum Axis dress watch. Limited batches ensure that each release retains a sense of exclusivity. Swiss Ronda movements for quartz variants; Seiko NH35 for the automatics. 316L stainless steel cases; sapphire crystals with AR coating; full-grain leather straps. The specification is honest for the price.

The Collection

Revolution series (flagship military automatics), Essential series (everyday chronographs), and an expanding roster of branded collaboration pieces — Transformers, One Piece, Robotech, Kamen Rider, Peanuts, Monopoly — that introduce watch collecting to audiences who might not have found it otherwise. The collaborations are not a dilution of identity. They are an extension of the brand’s ethos: watches for people who live their passions, whatever those passions are.

Jack Turner is built from a founder's genuine feeling about what a watch represents — the kind of connection it can carry between one generation and the next. That is not a marketing story. It is the entire reason the brand exists, and it shows in the loyalty of the community that has grown around it. — Editorial, Maison Indépendante
