OLTO-8
The number 8 is, in Italian, “otto” — the source of the brand’s name. Rotate it, and it becomes the symbol for infinity. For OLTO-8, founded in China in 2018, this is not wordplay. It is a philosophy. The brand structures its worldview around three eight-hour cycles — sleep, work, play — and asks whether the watch on your wrist honours all three, or merely the middle one.
What We Achieved
OLTO-8’s wandering hour, satellite wheel, and square-case-round-dial expressions each solve the display of time differently. They are watches that require learning — and reward it. Philosophy first. Aesthetics second. That sequence is rare and deliberate.

Origin
OLTO-8 emerged from a conviction that time-display could be radically reimagined without abandoning mechanical craft. Based in China with a design sensibility drawn from motorsport dashboards and high-stakes gaming environments, the brand approaches the dial as an information-design problem — then solves it beautifully.
Design Philosophy
The hour doesn’t have to sit in the same place every time. The ROTO’s wandering complication moves the hour marker around the dial like a planet in orbit. The KING’s satellite wheel spins into position. The Coral Steward puts a circular dial inside a square case, creating visual tension that resolves into something strangely satisfying on the wrist.
The Collection
Miyota 8215 base movements modified with in-house electronic and mechanical modules form the technical foundation. The result is a hybrid architecture that enables display mechanisms not available from standard movement suppliers. Each family reads time differently. Each one asks you to slow down and look.
