Agelocer

There is a certain defiance in what AGELOCER set out to do in 2013. Founded in Guangzhou with a mandate to neither borrow heritage nor purchase credibility, the brand committed from the outset to original design and in-house movement development — a gamble most fledgling brands avoid entirely. The result is a body of work that reads as a declaration: 24 international design awards, over 100 patents, and China’s first mass-produced free-sprung balance tourbillon skeleton watch. These are not borrowed achievements.

The Swiss studio of BUG ME GmbH is one of Agelocer’s co-design studios headquartered in Switzerland. Achivement

AGELOCER operates under the conviction that spectacle and substance are not in opposition. The Astronomer’s panoramic moonphase and the full-sapphire Tourbillon are mechanical exhibitions — watches that ask to be looked at, then reward closer inspection with the rigour underneath.

24 International Design Awards
More international design awards than any other Chinese watch brand in the segment.

100+ Patents Filed
Covering movement architecture, case construction, and decorative processes developed in-house.

Origin

Founded in 2013 by Ken Yip in Guangzhou, AGELOCER entered the market with an explicit goal: to redefine what Chinese mechanical watchmaking could be. No outsourced Swiss identity — just original design, original movements, and the confidence that quality would speak for itself.

Design Philosophy

The aesthetic vocabulary is deliberate: skeletal layouts that expose movement architecture, sapphire cases that eliminate the barrier between watch and mechanism, and complications chosen for visual drama as much as horological depth. AGELOCER makes watches for people who want to see what’s inside.

The Collection

The Astronomer series presents a panoramic moonphase of unusual grandeur. The Tourbillon series exposes its mechanics between sapphire crystals. In-house calibres — Cal.A4610, the skeletal A4710, the modern hollow A4910 — form the foundation. Obsessive by design. Unapologetically spectacular.
